    Default the Ruston Christmas Parade

Brother Johnnys youngest Daughter is a girl scout leader. Last year Her scout troop entered to be in that Parade. A Trailer was rounded up that somehow fell through at the last minute. I let them use mine..... It came back Decorated as a Steam Locomotive. Her Girls did several things as Fund raisers to be in the Parade again. This year they Decided to do " The Nightmare Before Christmas '' She always does things at the last Minute and we got things finished in Freezing weather. There was a big Ghost Called Uggie Boogie in the back of the truck. Taking off for the Parade at a whopping 30 MPH we got in line. The Boogie Man got there but was ROUGH. The face and decorations had not been put on yet. When we got Downtown The Boogie Man Looked like a member of the KKK !!!!! The Kids had been working on the Costumes and looked like the cast of the Movie. My Truck Is one of the Few Chevy Hybred Trucks. It has two Batteries. One 12 Volt And One 48 Volt Under the Back seat... There is also a large Inverter under the hood. There is a 115 Volt outlet inside the truck and two in the bed of the Truck. We ran Christmas Lights on the trailer with tape. Taped Black lignts to the side of the bed to light up the BOOGIE MAN as the Parade started moving. We had Four Bales of Hay the kids sat on. Five adults and ten Kids On back. We were in the middle of everything. There was two Trailers about the same size as ours with what looked like every second Grader in town dressed in santa suits--- How cute--- Then the Parade Director stopped us to Let in a Monster size truck with a Party barge that looked like Duck Dynasty, and we were off. Half way through town they were running low on Candy. as we finished a turn Johnny looked at me smiling, then said said --- How would you like to be in the MARDI GRAS Parade... I gave him The Look... No!!!! When we got back his Daughter said SAVE EVERYTHING FOR NEXT YEAR and you are driving...... The night mare continues....

Sounds like a lot of fun. You know you can't refuse. WTG!
By the way, since it's off topic, get some pictures and post. We would enjoy that.
