I used to bow hunt the WMA's for deer.....but have not for years......I suggest going to the Louisiana Dept. Wildlife & Fisheries website and checking there.....I will try to answer as I remember back when....
question 1.....no, but people do....until they are caught.
question 2.....no, but people do during the bow season because not many people there and the wardens are rarely present...leaving it would constitute a claim to that tree and you can not do that....gun season is a different story......don't leave it up.....there are so many people then it sounds like a war.....just to dangerous....I gun hunted one time and never again....a man got shot & killed less than 200 yards from me by his young son.....
question 3....during the gun season the wardens will have a check in/out station....as I remember, you have to check in before you go into the woods.....and check out......during the bow season you hardly ever see a warden.....no check in stations.....just tag your deer asap.....and remember during bow season, no guns with you.....
