    one of my company men just gave me the best gift ever. im sure a sales guy gave it to him. lol

    Good stuff there. My uncle used to stop there and get all kind of stuff. I believe they use Heberts now.

    Found them while at the Harley Davidson leave all your money goodies store.
    They are on the south side of I-10 at the Scott exit. Just west of Lafayette. Right next to the Harley dealership.
    Good stuff. Just don't go in hungry. Or broke. Never seem to leave without more goodies than I went in for.
    Never had the jarred stuff, just hot out of a paper bag.

    Oh yes, know the place well - pass by the original location every day in Carencro along the frontage road of I-49. The original is an old gas station without the pumps. Did so well there that they had to build a second location in Scott. I remember when there was a Don's Country Mart in Carencro (shut down about two years ago) and he bought the old gas station next to the interstate just for specialty meat. Don Menard is his name. Mark Aubrey runs both locations now. This was roughly 15 years ago when this went down. Really enjoy the stuffed mini pork roasts and stuffed deboned chickens. No room in the parking lot on weekends. I know the folks well here in Carencro. If you want something fresh cut, let me know - I'll get it done.
