I don't have the solution and I don't believe there are many programs that are clean. The problem with limits is that they get broken. I mean the limit now is zero but programs don't follow that. If everyone is getting paid, it would make it next to impossible to figure out that rules are being broken. If everyone got a certain amount, then the elite players would still be getting the 'extra'. The thing I don't like about paying everyone upfront is because that money is going to come from somewhere other than the millions these programs are raking in; Probably increased ticket and tuition prices. Then do you pay the athletes of all sports? I am like most of the world, wishing that everyone followed the rules, but I think there is way too much money being made for it to be stopped. It also doesn't help that the NCAA is pretty much a joke right now. Why follow rules if there are minimum consiquences, if any at all?
It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings.
