Question for farmers and ranchers out there

I was told yesterday at the feed store that I had to renew my tax exemption. Seems odd mid year. Is this for real, or am I put on another list of some sort? Maybe the little girl checking me out made a mistake of checking records. Just curious. Thanks.

you may be on to something....(fallout from DC?).....we had the same thoughts this week when we were told we owed more taxes....... looks like the Feds may have increased our taxable income....first thought was membership in Tea Party and NRA, online subscriptions to right wing groups, etc.....several of family and friends got letters also....this worries me.....

you could also look at it as "you got a raise".......

I will ask if we had to do this too. I go to atlas feed mill twice a month for about 20 sacks a time. Pretty sure they would have said something if every one had to renew. But I'll check. Maybe they lost it or updating the accounting.
