    Upgraded my daughter recently to the 5 and didn't cost but 30 bucks. Wife still going strong with 3G. Like Elwood said going to be years before older phones are obsolete.

    all of the above are the exact reasons why i decided to dump contract phones and just use monthly ones.... sure you don't get all the latest and greatest features.. but it does the same job and you know exactly how much your gonna spend every month.
