There are two things to aim for in life: First, to get what you want; and after that, to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind achieves the second. Author unknown, but I like it!
Wow, real nice. What variety are those? Mine don't get that big. I dig up some of the real small ones early, cut the tops, and let them dry out during the summer. Then re-plant in the Fall. I've been digging up the first batch of potatoes lately. I like that fig tree as well. Thanks for the post.

Very nice they are a lot bigger than my brother in laws, that is some good soil. My plants are loaded with bell peppers, tomatos and eggplant just waiting for them to mature.

Great job Paw Paw Nature. My brother-in-law has passed, but he used to grow an acre and a half garden. Plus a 65' by 100' strawberry patch. For perspective, he planted 250 tomato plants. They had so much he put a stand in his yard and sold stuff on a donation basis. Usually made enough to cover his expenses. Just that kind of guy. Any way, my point is I know how much work it is just to pick a large garden. And I have been known to try things to get out of it. But a knee surgery was never one of them.Just funning, get well and strong soon Miss Linda!

Bruce those are sweet onions, they are so sweet they are called "Candy". Yes Linda is feeling much better but not good enough. I'll be just as happy as her to get her out on the boat or van again.
