    Default I10 flooding ?

I live in east-central MS and have a wedding to attend in Houston on the 22nd and we normally travel I10 to TX. I just heard the MS river will crest at Vicksburg on the 19th which is not our normal way to cross the river on the way to Houston. Is there any news or place that I can keep up with interstate flooding or closures. I don't have to be at the wedding but do want to go, our niece. We are planning on leaving on the 19th.

The flooding will not effect the I10 MS bridge in Baton Rouge or I10 into Houston.

Thanks for the info, do you know if I12 to I10 into Baton Rouge will be passable? I don't know where the Morganza spillway is located but on the weather channel it looked like they would be flooding the east side of the river.

I10 and I12 will not be affected (unless we have a major levee break along the Mississippi River).....the Morganza spillway diverts water from the Mississippi River west into a wilderness area area we call the Atchafalaya Basin....the Basin is fed by the Red and Atchafalaya rivers....hope this helps....
