Thanks for all of the information guys. I really wanted to stay away from the 2011 models of the GMC and Chevy because of the new emissions regulations. And, as it has been pointed out a 2010 Chevy or GMC is almost non-existant.
The Dodge I drove Saturday is a 2010 and the salesman told me that with the inline six even the 2011 Dodges are not affected by the new emissions regulations.
Everybody has some good points to consider. Anybody know what the MPG is on the gas burners in the 2500 series and what size the engines are?
Again thanks to all of you who weighed in on this. I appreciate and value your opinions. I guess I'll wait to see what the Lord brings me for next week. God may decide to lay it upon someone heart to just give me one. And by the way, don't laugh. A good friend of mine, an evangelist, had a man walk up to him one day and hand him the keys to a $300,000.00 dollar bus. Said the Lord told him to do it. Hey, all things are possible through the Lord. After all, He owns all of it; I guess He can do with it as He please. Whether I get the new truck or not, I will praise the Lord.
The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.
