They drill a relief well and kill it with heavy weight mud then cement the zone up so no oil or gas will come to the surface. I'm pretty sure they are in the process of doing that at this moment. And all the whining and crying in the world will not help one iota in killing the well. Course you could always try to hire out as a hand on the rig drilling the relief well and give them some of your expertise.
Be as smart as you can, but it is always better to be wise than to be smart.
