    Default Tillery 2/21

Hit Tillery with my new boat Saturday. Bought one of those new Tracker cc so we can do a lot of saltwater later this year. Just got my millennium rod holders and helix 7 mega SI mounted and wanted to give them a try. It comes with a riptide hand trolling motor which I am going to leave on, but also have a power drive v2 I mounting beside it with quick mount just for pulling jigs. Took grandson and he wanted to catfish. Of course I wanted to crappie fish, but guess what we fished for? Should have gone with my choice. Very few catfish, but did mark tons of crappie in about 25 foot of water about halfway down. Most crappie fishing were still on main lake on deep drops from bank. Didn't see a lot of catching but several trying. Probably going back Sunday and try it my way.

Good job getting out there. Hopefully they will be more cooperative next trip. You did right by fishing grandsons choice. Glad boat is doing good.
