I didn't do anything worth mentioning at Shearon Harris yesterday either. I believe the combination of full moon phase, bluebird skies, high barometric pressure, and the first day of a warming trend had 'em in lock-jaw mode. I put in at around 1:00 and fished until about 4:15 after trying everything I knew to make 'em bite. My final count as I recall was (4) bass; (3) white perch; (3) crappie; and (1) blue catfish (all yearling-class fish) that were all released. I still enjoyed getting out on the water on a very pleasant weather day overall. I certainly didn't have too many fish worrying me, that's for sure.
