I fished Jordan yesterday 3/1 with my son and we caught around 60-70. Kept 25. My other son fished with a friend and did about the same.

Question, how do u keep minnows down in 20 fow.
1/2 oz weight on a tight line rig, or a drop shot rig ?

I fished Haw river side today, I marked fish in 20-25 ft. Those fish not alot were holding on drop offs . I started marking fish at mouth of stinking creek close to bank on left side in 8ft. drop offs to 15 ft. caught fish at around 13-14 ft. Caught a few 13-14 inch fish.
Then the wind whipped up.

I normally use 1/8 weight above hook . Don't have a problem. But today proved me wrong. So crappie are prespawn in deep deep creeks , from main lake and not in short creek coves.?
