Thread: Halifax county slab

I went fishing in the spillway behind my hunt club pond this afternoon. Caught 6 crappie with this one being the biggest. Not bad considering the pothole I was fishing is only about 40 feet across. I think tomorrow I'm going to put my 10 foot Pelican boat in the main pond and try that. The pond is a large mill pond and is full of trees and cypress stumps. It has no shortage of crappie and some fairly nice size ones considering it's a pond.
