It is a pay lake $15 plus $5 for each person. I've fished it several times for crappie and did pretty good.It was first a bass lake but it holds a lot of species now. I liked to fish the blowdowns or rather the cut-down trees that are lying at the shorelines. It's been a while since i have fished it,check their website for the hours.

Opens back up in March, they are open Wed through Sunday. Take comfy shoes for the hike from boat ramp to parking lot. Bridges on both branches have been good to me for Crappie. Several creeks have good distinct channels that’ll hold fish.
