Got a late start on New Years day. Splashed the boat around 9:00 at Beatties. Started trolling umbrellas and had some decent luck early with spotts, all were small though. Finally put a good hybrid in the boat. Followed by another short fish. Found good marks early in 40-60' but never got on good fish. Overall was a good day on the water. Still trying to learn this lake, and I'm liking it more and more each time out.
