Chuck, I remember the same thinking as what you describe when I hit 40, 50 and 60. I have always been active in sports and working out all of my life... never realizing that I was wearing out the joints throughout my body, but even knowing what I know now... I doubt I would have done anything any differently. Best I can figure... this getting old stuff is not for the faint of heart.
