4 strokes (especially yamahas) are made to burn at a certain temperature, ie keeping a consistant grade of fuel.....87, 89 ect ect. When you add seafoam (especially shock your system), your motor will burn "hotter" and damage seals, sensors and the thermostat ( $75 part, quick easy fix).

Once or twice may not hurt it much, but constant use will create potential issues.
