Not sure about mud but this website is pretty accurate concerning levels and bridge clearances.

It is muddy. Better in some creeks. Getting under flat swamp bridge will be tough. Smaller boat maybe. Go to savehighrocklake.org and it will tell you all bridge clearances, water temps. lake level, etc.

    Hey Don

3 or so days ago mainlake was a mess with floating debris everywhere, but the water in the creeks was very fishable.

Im sure it may have changed between then and now, but im sure you can find fishable water.

I may venture out with the wife and dog tomorrow afternoon for a few hours and keep just a couple for dinner.

Thanks Pete, we have decided on coming Thursday.

I looked at 2 HR websites this morning::one showed .2 ft below full pond and the other 1.93 ft below..?????

Haven't fished HR in 15 years..I know things have changed, but I love the lake..I guess it has fully recovered from the drought several years back.

    Just got back from HR.
Wasnt bad. Its stained but very fishable.

No trouble under the bridge at 2nd creek.

Cruised around a bit with my wife
Fished 2hrs and picked up 40 keeping only 7 good 1+lbers for a meal. They are spawning out and pulling off the banks. Saw water temps 72-76 degrees. That stained water warms quick!
