    Default Eno River - Frozen

Stopped by the Eno River Friday morning and found it was frozen solid. Water level are really low.

Never seen up lake Falls frozen over like it has been the last couple weeks and been fishing it for quite a while. Wondering if this impacts the fishery any or do the fish just adapt? Do know I have a severe case of cabin fever - have organized all my tackle, rods, reels, etc. Even looking at Fla property LOL. Come on March....

I fished out by the car Saturday afternoon. Marked a lot of fish tight to the bottom in the channel but could only get white perch to bite.

Yes, it was very depressing. Good question concerning the fishery as Crappie like to move to deeper depths when it gets cold. Not sure how many deep pockets are in the Eno or I assume they move back into the Lake. I haven't fished there to know the patterns or behavior when the river freezes.

Same behavior @ Falls Lake. I fished near the 50 bridge boat ramp area.
