If you don't want to buy the lights, there are several threads on here with directions to build them. I built a 2 foot green one a while back. Works great and only ended up with about $25 in it.
I tryed a lot on diffrent combos on lights over the years what I use now has worked the best for me. I have 2 green lights I put about 6 to 8 feet below the water one at each end of boat with lighter plugins on them. Then I have a string of UV water proof lights on the side of boat the string is 16 ft long and 300 led lights fish with floresent line and have the poles painted about 6 inches on end with floresent yellow paint bug are no trouble much because the UV dont draw them much use head lamps in boat only when needed. I even have small UV flash lights for tiein on hooks with floresent line works great. took me a while on trial and error to get to this combo but it has worked best.
You guys have saved me alot of time from trial and error with all the support, thank you very much and I was just thinking about what kind of light system I would use to watch my rods, thanks alot guys I really do appreciate it and I hope to have some good reports for you next weekend for I will be building my lights this weekend.
