STRIPER ACTION 3-6-17 (photo heavy)

Its been near a month since i last went fishing and was dying just to go somewhere after lots of work. Today was one of those days a striper fisherman dreams of. the fish were chewing, and we worked hard all day. 7 times we had a stiper double, countless times we had 2 perch on at a time, and one time we had all 8 rods bounce, and brought in 11 fish.

had enough by 2pm (things slowed up). When all was said and done, final tally was approx 20 striper up to 8-9lbs, 30 perch, a 6lb largemouth and approx a 25lb FAT blue. All once again on leadcore AND my Urig on downriggers. Couple times had a pair on the U-rig which does not happen very often. NEVER have we hammered white perch like this on the troll. all were 3/4Lb+. Only boat out there. love fishing on a Monday. Lucky for me, I had the hot side of the boat and did a good part of the reeling.

Great Dow Pete! Ease up on us, that's to much to take in on one trip. LOL Man you are the ACE of spades on these stripers. The perch are huge! Sure you don't have a record fish in there. Glad Monday paid off for you. I'd love to go but still got to work a couple more days this week. Always looking to see your report!
