Looks like Pete's umbrella rigs. lol. Have not tried them on Norman, but on Tillery, just find a hump and look for the schools right on the bottom. They will almost look like weed beds they will be so thick. Drop a two minnow rig down and hang on. You can jig with small jigs if you like. Don't catch as many, but seem to be a little bigger. I have even run out of minnows and began cutting the bellies out of the ones I was keeping. Slice them in small strips and use those for bait. Works good also. Pull crankbaits across points. Heck not many ways not to catch perch.

Sorry for the late response as ive been on the road working.

To be quite honest with you, the S end of Norman is terrible when it comes to fishing for perch, striper, crappie ect ect. Dont get me wrong, you can catch them out there, but the numbers are very low. If you want to catch a BIG crappie or striper, this is the area you want to target. I have never caught a crappie smaller than 1.5lbs on the south end, but you really have to work hard just to catch a few

Your better off trailoring your boat North and fishing some of those creeks. If its perch you want, you cannot go wrong fishing the mouth of the Hot hole. youll probably luck into some hybrids out there as well. Been a very good bite at sunrise out there usually.

Generally on norman, the fish will shut down after 1030am and drop reallllly deep. when they do that, try fishing mouths of creeks. mark them on the bottom and go to work. the Mouth of stumpy and even the big shoal in stumpy are pretty good overall. you may even luck into some crappie if you bounce the bottom out there.

    hope this helps a little.

What he says! keep them all. if they are too small, step on their head and throw them back. No perch ever leaves my boat alive!!
I see guys playing "catch and release" with them. no bueno!!
