Thread: Buckhorn Res.

Does anyone have in info they can share about Buckhorn Res. Any fish? How crowded? How big are the fish? I have never fished there but a friend want me to take him there. I know it is between Wilson and Kenly.

Apparently it has big fish, the state record white crappie came out of there a few years ago.I think it's since been broken. The only thing I've heard is that it's really shallow in places. I think it's limited on boat ramps too. If you go start shallow and work your way deep. You'll most likely get on the fish quicker that way.
