I certainly understand how you feel. Not trying to hi-jack your post.........but, I too, am in my late 60s and have had the same thoughts. To bad we aren't closer. I'm in Summerfield (Greensboro area).I like to Crappie and Striper fish. Trolling mostly. I like to go during the weekdays if at all possible as well as weekends in the wintertime only. i live close to both lakes you mentioned and am older than you . still get around good and like to fish with my son when he can get off work. let me know if you still looking for someone to fish with.
