Charles, Pop and I had a perfect day on Harris. The weather was nice and had fish biting most of the day. We were experimenting, so went through some dry spells; but all in all, a good day on the water. Pop is home right now cleaning the fish and I am sure he is glad we did not catch anymore. The water this afternoon was 60 degrees, so I think the fish are still in transition to their wintering grounds.
We had fun with some really nice perch and crappie. We didn't keep a count, but most of the perch were much larger than normal. The smaller perch can be a headache, but most of the ones we caught were definitely above normal. Take a look at this monster Charles caught:
Had a chance to take some screenshots to share with you guys. I realize these appear brown, but on the Onix it is amber. I prefer blue, but during bright sunshine I have found amber is best. Some where a classic like the first one. Note the two fish feeding along the 10 foot line. Yes, most of the crappie are under the school, but the active ones are up in it feeding.
Note the previous screenshot was taken in the afternoon, but this one is in the morning.
This shot definitely lets you know where to fish and where not to.
There are maybe two or three keeper crappie in this shot, but guess what is missing? Right--the bait. Find the bait and you will find the crappie or perch (and a cat or two).

Are those shots using down imaging or the classic view?
I enjoy seeing the screen shots that you post. Keep them coming.
Rick
Thanks for the screenshot. Better than what's on t.v.!
