I need to catch a decent number of white perch Thursday to use as bait this weekend on a catfishing camping trip. Wondering where the thickest numbers of them will be this time of year. Also, what methods would catch them the best. I feel like this time of year last year I got into them real good just longlining jigs in the Eno. It may have been later on in the winter though. We will be camping near williamston on the Roanoke River. We have caught perch with worms in the Spring there, but not sure if they are as thick this time of year. And we would rather spend time catfishing there then spending time trying to catch bait. Thanks for any and all advice!
