    Thanks for the interest sporkd2 but had a taker on Sunday, sorry I was slow getting the word out.
    I agree with all the comments, Knucklehead me went out and replaced the floating light with an expensive white LED submersible light. Tried them both on opposite sides of the boat and the floating light attracted more bugs around the light and more minnows after those that fall in the drink. The submersible light set about 2' to 3' down attracted more zooplankton (looks like white lint in the water) with a fair amount of minnows circling the LED light.
    The LED allow me to set my hooks a little lower for the crappie

    I could not believe it. We fished 3 weeks ago and caught lots of big perch and only 2 crappie. I was not fishing the bottom this time. 27FOW fish at 13ft. When we caught the perch we were in 13FOW fishing 12 and 13FT. Don't know if that made the difference or not. I told you that Im green at this night fishing. I like it.

    Sea dancer I was fishin in 18' fow. Did catch 2 kitty's but that's nothing unusual.
