Old casting net weights?
Anybody got a handfull of the weights around the bottom of an old casting net that they have retired? I have a really nice 8 footer, but it is too light and will not sink fast enough. Thought I might take some old leads and split them and add to my current net before I go purchase a new one. PM me if you have any. Thanks.

That lead is high. I can order them online, but they are pretty expensive. Probably go ahead and get a few.

cw I have a bucket 1/2 full I'd trade for some 1 oz egg sinkers. i don't know what they are charging but I could go one for one or what ever. These are 1 1/4 long 1/2 " round hole size is 1/4". I saved them in case I got a mold one day.
There are probably enough to do 2 8' notes in the pail
