    Default Lake Tillery


    Just wanted to see if anyone had any current info on crappie and Lake Tillery. New to crappie fishing, so any tips would be greatly appreciated. Also like to know if the lake is still down, I was out there 2 weeks ago and the water level was down a great deal.

    thanks, screwdriver. We are plannin on goin g out this saturday and were concerned about the water level. Do you or your son have any insight on the crappie out there you care to share with a novice.

    I don't fish Tillery to much because of the distance to pull my boat, I live in Kannapolis. My son all he wants to do is wake board or jet ski so he is no help finding places to fish. I believe there is some good fishing there somewhere but know where. Sorry I can't help you. My son's place is off Fairway Shores toward lower end of the lake.

    Fished tiller of Friday ,and came home with 11 that were all over 10 in. Now they are in the fridge . some for sunday dinner. Fishing was very good. Caught lots of other fish. Bream, White Bass, Catfish. All in All it was a good day..
