    Default White bass!!!

Had my best day of the year today. Did not catch a bunch but the ones I did catch were some good ones. Ended up keeping 17. I think one or two would go almost 2.5 or 3lbs. Eno river.

Nice catch buzz bait,I bet the bigger ones really put up a fight.Did you catch them casting or trolling? I enjoy trolling and catching them. I caught one last week on cut bait on the bottom while trying for stripers,,I can't ever recall catching a white bass on cut bait,,even when the lake I fish( wateree) had a good population of whites. Thanks for sharing the pics and report.

Bear, I caught all of those from the bank. Stood in one spot for about 3 hrs. Casting rooster tail and small jerk bait. I use a 6' ultra light with 6lb line. Those big ones put up a heck of a fight. They will double over that ultra light. I LOVE IT!!!

Very nice fish. Thanks for sharing.
Life jackets can be uncomfortable, but much less so than drowning.
