All of them were caught in the large pool at the parking lot. I have been 2 times since then and only managed a few small ones. Those big ones bit for 2 days and were gone. Took the poles out of the car Saturday afternoon. Wife was happy until she seen me hooking the boat up. Going to be spending some time in Weldon the next 4 weeks!!!

I think you should be able to pick at the White Bass for another week or so. Top water bite should be red hot if you can find em.

BUZZ,keep us posted on some current Roanoke River reports.I look foreward to reading the Thursday's report on the NC wildelifes page. Looks like the Tar River is getting some nice stripers in it.I know there's several on the NC board that fishes Weldon that shares some fishing info .I think I'm the only SC member that goes north Weldon. I always try to help folks out with information on Weldon.

I did well on the white bass on Fri morning and then hardly anything on Sun morning.

The stripers are starting to show in Weldon but the bulk are still downstream between Scotland Neck and Hamilton.

Fished the Eno and Flat Thursday from the boat caught a few small males. The water temp was 68F. Caught plenty of perch and a gar. Later went to PB the water was very shallow, caught on small male. A fellow that went past the corn fields caught 5. The previous week slayed the white bass (photo). Maybe the rain will allow the fish swim up, they can't even get pass the pool.Name: image.jpg
