Thread: Harris report 4/8*

Shane and I went to Harris Friday to try and find some fish for Bigeyecrappieman tourney. We ended up finding fish in 23 fow right on bottom. We caught some females still full of eggs and this nice big black male right on bottom in the 23 fow same place as females full of eggs. With the color of this male I guess they are going to just spawn wherever they feel most comfortable. Not sure. We left that area alone and then went to Jordan and nothing but short fish there. Next morning we decided to fish shallow for a little while and caught nothing but catfish and bass. Decided to go to yesterday's spot and soon as we made the turn uh oh. White caps looking like the ocean. Knew we made a mistake then. Should have started deep. We fought the wind and the wind won. Here's Shane with his monster crappie.

We then went back shallow and Shane caught the biggest one he ever snagged. Turtle that is.
