    Default They weren't crappie but

Had mind made up to go crappie fishing sat. morning but after all the rain we had in the week thought it would be a bad trip so thought I would go to hickory catfishing, got there about 10 and lake looked like u could walk across it so went up river and was same thing red muddy wt. was 46, wound up catching 19 cats biggest was a blue at 10 lbs and the other 18 were yellow cats probably 11 to 13 inches, really wanted to crappie fish but u have to take what comes sometimes and be thankful u just got to go

Any kind of fish being caught is better than no fish,I do a lot of cat fishing and crappie fishing but crappie are my number one choice

Often we have to take what the fishing gods give us. Sounds like it was still a good trip.
