Well, I drove to Belle's Church Pier Sunday afternoon and the parking lot was flooded badly, with the water going up the entrance road. The little bridge that connects the main part of the pier with the parking lot was under water, too. It even looked like part of the bridge that connects it to the main part of the pier was broken. I've seen the parking lot here under water before. This looks really bad. The powers that be had just reconnected the green pier lights and got the light at the far end of the pier just lit up again, so I guess it's gonna be a while before we can get back to winter crappie fishing at night time again.
