I moved to HR around June 2014 and after moving here saw some reports of coal ash leaking into the river from the retired Buck coal plant,when the river was 14 ft. below full pool. I have read the DNR consumption info from 2013 and would love to eat these fish but cannot talk myself into it. I am in no way bashing anyone or anything about this article.I would like some feedback on what the other crappie fishermen or anyone in the know, thinks about the consumption of these fish.
