Thread: Another good day on Harris Report

We decided to hit Harris early this morning and get out before the crazy boaters let lose. The cove I was planning to hit already had someone in it so we went over one cove and started slow trolling some minnows and casting some jigs. About the third cast and crappie on. We caught a few nice ones casting jigs and then they started bending the poles with minnows. After about an hour we went thru about 3 dozen minnows catching white perch and crappie. Around 9:30 they moved a little deeper but we still caught plenty on jigs and cut perch. Didn't seem to matter what we put in front of them as long as we hit the right depth. Ended up fishing till about 11 and got out just in time because we passed at least a dozen boats headed to the ramp. We kept 20 nice ones for us and the neighbors. Fun fun day on the water.

Thanks. There's more and more of the Trackers coming around the area. It's a really good all around boat. Can't wait to get back on the water this weekend.
