    Default High rock

Did a little night fishing on 5/2. I was suprised how many boats were out on the lake. (More than I expected) I have only fished high rock a handful of times. Got set up about 830 pm and caught crappie as fast as I could feed them unfortunatly not many keepers though. Most fish in the 6 -7 3/4 in range. Fished about 3 hours and ended up w/ only 3 keepers. Did manage to catch 6 decent cats though.
Anyone have any advice on how to get on a little better crappie on high rock?

I heard rumors that the dnr will take the creel and size limits of the crappie on HR around July or August. Hopefully this will be helpful in the future, but for right now we will have to deal with the chips.

Keep trying and try different spots. It seems to me some spots have bigger fish than others.
