Default Heads up, guy and gals

After 2 weeks of lousy weather and the worst bout of flu I can remember, I finally found enough energy to get over to Jordan Lake. It took about 90 minutes to get a 20 fish limit.
So the heads up is that I found 59* water and female crappie with some bloody and loose roe. IMO, it is on, so don't wait much longer to dust the snow from your boat.
I also met our brand new Game Warden in his brand new boat. He glanced at my fish, asked me how many I had, checked my license and life jacket and wished me a good day. First time in 13 years I have seen a game warden on any lake around here.
I used about 6 different colors of jigs, but most fish came on pink and chartreuse.

Good job Bill. I'm going to be out of town for a week, but I'll be thinking about how good the fishing is starting on Jordan.

Hey Chief, thanks for the information. I need to get myself back out to the lake and onto the posts.
Life jackets can be uncomfortable, but much less so than drowning.
