Thread: Badin 3/2

Went for a while, and got a big goose egg. Tight lipped was not the word I use. Just plan gone, I couldn't find a fish, not even a perch. I tried everything in the boat. It's been a long time since I didn't catch anything. But better days are coming, if anyone has pointers, I'll gladly try them.

Thanks for the report, even if it wasn't a good one. I'll report, when I get out there. Maybe next week! Shotgun

Days like that make the good days better

I'm planning on going to Badin this weekend. I'll try and give a report on our trip.

I'm curious as to what the water temp is after all of this rain.

The problem with this time of year is if you get a nice warm day, you can almost guarantee that is going to get the winds kicked up.

Went to Badin this morning 3/7. Cold start, water temp 42.0 Found the shad, but couldn't get the crappie to bite. Left at lunchtime and went to Tillery. Same as Badin but water a little warmer at 48. Talked to a couple other guy's and they hadn't caught anything either. I did catch a 3' 2X4. Felt pretty good for a couple seconds.
