    Default Norman 3-1

Well i report it good or bad. today we didnt burn them up, but it didnt stink.

had a nice glaze of ice covering the entire boat by the time we reached the ramp about 715.

fished hard all morning. no birds working, nothing guiding me to any feeding frenzies, so just fished the traditional way of "this is where they should be"

ended with 1 striper about 7lbs, a pile of jumbo perch (15ish) and 5 hybrids released.
ran into "hooksetter" wanting my autograph on the water
Full day 1/2 day or evening Striper/Crappie fishing trips available at a very affordable price for
Lake Norman, Badin, Wateree, High Rock.
Individual maker of the heavy duty "hybrid" A-rig Trolls just like an umbrella rig, Guaranteed to put fish in the boat

Sounds to me like a decent day fishing. I wouldn't mind an autograph myself!

Sounds like a good day for ya. We ended up with a pile of perch ourselves and a few nice sized bass. Topped the day off with a 4ft gar. Got off the water before lunch. Had things to do in the afternoon. Like Pete said, there was no signs of life where the fish were caught. Just 2 lonely ole boats.

Pete, are you still trolling A-rigs with lead core around this time of the year?

I had to order lead core. I guess there's not enough people using it around here to justify selling it. Just started using it this year myself. It does work good! I use to only use downriggers but thanks to Pete, now troll both.

Bass Pro Shops in Concord usually has it. If I'm not mistaken it is over in the corner where the saltwater stuff is near the bait baskets on that back wall.
