Thread: nice bass at falls monday

I decided to check out one of my favorite bank fishing spots at Falls Monday afternoon. Within ten minutes I noticed that my cork was not visible, so I twitched the line to locate it and something pulled back. I'd hooked a nice bass, fat, too, but not the required sixteen inches, so I let it go. Didn't get another bite, so I left about dark.
Still, this was a good feeling. I know the big crappie here are on their way.

Redboat, I stopped by the highway 50 boat launch and didn't see any ice there, but that was Monday. Today, Tuesday, it's snowing everywhere, so you would probably be taking a chance if you tried today. Flatfoot
