    Default Jordan Lake 2-22

Well we had another great day on Jordan. Finally, NO WIND! My daughter caught 40 in a couple of hours on minnows in about 25 feet of water. We ran up to Robeson Creek to see what it looked like. Well it was frozen over well out into the lake. Robeson Creek is just to left in the pic I've attached.

Forgot to mention. I only saw 2 other boats fishing and they were by Ebenezer and that was it. Not sure what happened to everyone but we were pretty much all alone.

Looks like a great trip, did you see any dead shad?

I did not see any dead shad and the birds did not appear to be on a feeding frenzy. We still had a lot of bait appearing on the fishfinder so maybe they came thru ok.

Good job. What was the water temp? Was there a lot of ice in other spots on the lake?

For the most part the surface temp was running about 41 and there wasn't a lot of ice around. Since the temp stayed above freezing last night I would figure there's a lot less today. There's still a ton of good spots still wide open.

I guess those solar bees were keeping the water circulating so much it didn't freeze......

Thought about pulling a couple of those solar panels off one of those things and using them on my boat to charge the trolling batteries.
