Greetings!
Hello everyone.
My name is Anthony (or Tony... Never really cared either way). I'm not really new to the area, I've been around for a few years. I am however just getting back into fishing. I'm originally from MN. Grew up fishing quite a bit up there. Crappie and Walleye were always my favorite to fish for up there. Although there doesn't seem to be much for Walleye in this area. Unless you have the ablitly to travel around, and really have a boat to get away from the shore.
I had the benefit to move near Jordan Lake. Which is awesome. I hear there is some pretty good fishing around the lake itself. I recently found a nice area to walk to the northern hwy 751 bridge. I spent a few hours out there on 01/31 just casting around. I saw a few guys stop with their boats. Not sure if any of them are on here though. I didn't catch anything, but really I couldn't figure out how deep that water really was. I was having technical difficulties between weight on the lure end and the bobber staying above water. Can anyone recall how deep that is just under the bridge? Any help y'all can give me would be much appreciated. It's been a long time since i've had to fish from shore. It's really a new learning experience. I just don't like fishing from the piers that they put up. I'm not much for large crowds i guess...
Any tips y'all can give would be much appreciated. I'll be back out there Saturday or Sunday. Say hi if you see me, and Good Luck!
