    Default Jordan 12-14

I decided to leave the trout alone at the coast this fall and do a little crappie fishin instead. We've fished Jordan a few times and have done pretty well in several different places. Fished today from 8 to 11, caught in the neaighborhood of 80 and kept our limit of 40. We had 3 fish over 14 inches with one just barely missing the 15 inch mark. The rest were solid 11-13 inch fish. The bigger fish were suspended about 18-22 ft deep. Hoping to get back out tomorrow. Sent pics of the 20 I took home to Newly to post.

Thanks Newly! That board is 16 X 22 to give you an idea of the size.

Fished around the 64 bridge today from about 1:30 till 6:30 and caught about a dozen keepers no big ones like yesterday. Saw the other boats catching a ton of tiny ones again. Caught a lot more white perch today so I'm inclined to think the larger crappie have moved out. At least that's been my experience in the past. I'll be back next weekend.

Man those are some nice fish. People have already said it, but man they sure are darker down here. Good going!
