I went yesterday. Put in at Southmont with jon boat. Water is 15ft. below full pond. According to the Alcoa website it is expected to rise. Caught a couple of crappie and saw a nice cat that was caught.
    Tight lines to ya!

If you go to Southmont use the center ramp. Found a rock while getting out Thursday. It was the one closest to the dock. Got in a hurry while waiting on a lane. Be careful even in the main channel. Lots of rocks and all Her stumps haven't rotted away by a long shot.

There are a lot of rocks all around all three ramps that are open. When the water gets around 15 feet down you have to be really careful. Just take it slow and expect a nick or two on your prop. The water is up a foot or more now. All three ramps should be fine now. Might hit it Saturday. Going to be a cold morning but the stripers are calling me.
