A few years ago, the SC Wildlife Dept reported that Wateree had over 1,000 lbs of "fish" per acre of water. Wateree has 14,000 acres of water. Multiplying lbs X acres equals 14,000,000 lbs of "fish" in the lake. Sport fishing and commercial fishing has never hurt the fish population.

I doubt we will ever see any such Jordan data from NC WildLife Resources; however, it would be interesting to know how many pounds of fish may be in Jordan Lake.

Wind and rain Tuesday, did not fish. Wed. 1 keeper trout. Thursday, windy, fished from boat tied to dock, caught 11 Spot tails, 1, 22 inches-4 keepers-no trout.
