getting ready
As some of you know, I go to Morehead for a week every October. I always try to get the Sea Dancer out for some "check out" before the trip. Yesterday was a test run. Went to two different bait shops for minnows and both were closed(out of business). The crappie were gorging on shad in open water just off the shallows. Would only bump jigs. The shad finally scattered into the grass in the shallows. We switched to top water and had a blast with the bass. Three weeks and Sea Dancer will be looking for Reds and Specs.
