    Default Badin report

Fish this morning, on water by 6:00. Water temp around 85, and clear. Found them spider rigging, in 14-18 FOW, bout 8-10 ft deep. Mostly on minnows, with a few on jig. Caught 70- 75, with most being 8" fish, kept 20 9 1/2" and better for fryer. Most fish was over some type of structure, even if was very small. Thinking bout a DI fish finder. But I'm getting by with what I got and if it ain't broke.... But would like input bout new Fish finder before I make my mind up! Thanks ! Name: image.jpg

Concerning depthfinders I think getting one with GPS and a map card is more helpful than downimaging, and a little FYI all fisfinders emit a pinging or clicking sound

Well mine stays on all the time, I fish brush piles, directly over them, the ping sound does not affect them. I'm still hooked on my eagle 480, I only need to know 3 things, water temp , depth and if I'm over the brush pile. You can make fishing too complicated, keep it simple , focus on your fishing not playing with the depth finder.
