    Default Jordan 7/31/14

Fished Jordan today! After 3 years, finally, the Lancer with the Yamaha runs great! Rode and Rode and could not mark anything on the fishfinders between mile markers 9 and 11. Finally, found Shad and a few fish around the Farrington Bridge. Caught 3 Crappie 6 inches long.

I Will continue to look at park model campers for South Carolina!

I marked no fish or shad in any of my summer spots that have produced in years past. I also noticed that a ski boat pulling a tube left a strange trail of brown foam (bubbles) that lingered for a long time.

I also fished yesterday with my dad. Had a ball. Trolled the points out from Farrington landing. Caught at least 30 fish and kept 12. Noticed a brown stain on the boat bottom and had to wash the boat when we got home. My dad mentioned how brown and dirty the water looked while we were fishing but I didn't pay much attention at the time. I will be sure to look at this the next time we go. Oh and this is a first post. Glad to be a new member.

    Welcome.
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

One of my customers told me today that his depth finder was showing the thermocline at 22 feet. Most of the water above the 64 bridge would be "uncomfortable" to the fish, if the thermocline is at 22 feet.

Anyone have any further info that may explain the absence of any type of fish in this area.
